CamelBak packs work best when the water's on the inside and the outside and cargo are dry. This rain cover fits securely to your CamelBak pack with a Velcro closure and drawstring and will protect it from everything short of a jump in the pond. Use the S/M for the H.A.W.G., Cloud Walker, Trail Blazer and Zephyr. Use the M/L for the Rim Runner, Peak Bagger, Ares, Ethos and Kronos.
There is nothing fancy about this pack cover. It works. There is a strap on mine that is useless, but thankfully it doesn't get in the way. I bought this cover for a H.A.W.G. pack and it is a little too tight when I have the pack and bladder full. I hope this helps.
The trinity has 1600cu. in and the REI website says the S/M size will fit "other packs between 1000-1700cu. in." According to this your pack needs the S/M size. I bought one for the H.A.W.G. and I thought it was a litte too tight when I had the pack and bladder both full. I hope this helps.
Rain cover works perfect. No more stuffing my gear into trash bags inside the pack when it's raining out. Now I just attach the rain cover and go on as normal. A huge plus is the bright yellow fabric as it adds to my reflectability during my evening commute by bicycle. Great product!
I bet they both would. Do you often hang stuff off the back of you camelback (like a rolled up extra layer) that would need to be covered too? If you pack yours full, get the large one, if not, get the smaller one.
The m/l size will cover around 35 liters which is just shy of the size of the ethos with a full bladder, 2280 cu in. So, it should fit an average day pack.
This rain cover is a must if you want to keep your Camelbak dry out there. It packs really small and is easy as 1,2,3 to put on your pack. When you are hiking and the weather turns foul, don't let your gear and goods get soaked, buy a rain cover for sure!
