CamelBak Racebak Hydration Jersey - Men's

Need the hydration but not the pack? Enter the Camelbak Men’s Racebak Hydration Jersey. This sleeveless jersey features an integrated reservoir and an insulated drinking tube for easy hydration during adventure races, trail runs, or century rides. The flat seams eliminate chafing, and the Air Mesh insulated back panel simultaneously cools your back and insulates your water. The streamlined design fits under your cycling jersey or lightweight fleece.

Bottom Line: Hydration on the move, without the pack.

I'm sure that it would probably work. However, this system is really for people who are running (or on a bike), to make it easier to carry and access water. If I were in a canoe, I would probably rather have my water in the canoe, rather than having to wear it (unless it were a non-stop race, where this system could have some advantages).

Had a Tailor sew three pockets on the back. Have a 100k ride this weekend and will try it out and let you know. Weather in Az starting to get hot so I hope this works as I think it will.

They would seel more if they had pockets in back for Gu , Spare tube etc.

Mid-flight refueling is totally a possibility. Aircraft sold separately.

I mountain bike race with one here in the Northwest and find that using the Raceback is cooler than wearing a pack, especially when I pre-freeze half of the bladder full of water. ( I fill it up half way, blow it up with air, lay it flat in the freezer so the hole to the tube is clear of the water ) Then fill it the rest of the way and have cool water and cool back.

I prefer to avoid wearing anything besides clothing on my back when I'm riding. Water bottles are fine and the water bottle carrier also carries a coffee cup nicely as well.
