CamelBak Helena Hydration Pack 3L - Women's

Fill the three-liter water reservoir in the CamelBak Women’s Helena Hydration Pack, stash a fleece, rain jacket, and snacks in the roomy main compartment, and hit the trail for an all-day adventure. CamelBak gave this pack a high sternum strap, a harness that contours to a gal's body, and a short torso length (in comparison to unisex packs) so your load feels comfortable. When you need a drink, bite down on the leak-proof bite valve and stay hydrated without missing a step.

Bottom Line: Cargo space and water-carrying capacity for a day-long hike.

Would this be big enough to use for a school backpack? It would need to be able to hold a binder/textbook or two as well as assorted other small necessities.

Best Bag Ever

By:

This is quite possibly the best bag i've ever bought! It fits so much stuff in it! An example is when i go cycling, I'm able to fit somewhere close to 5 water bottles in the main part of the bag, 2 on the sides, and still have room for flip flops, a change of clothes, sunglasses, phone, keys, and other little things. When i went camping the same thing and while its nto water proof it did keep everything inside the bag relatively dry despite the rain! Best bag ever!

Love it.

I LOVE this pack. My boyfriend got it for me for my birthday this year, and the same weekend I took it on two hikes. The reservoir holds 3L, which was perfect for a pretty challenging 10 mile 2500 foot hike, the bite valve worked great, it was easy to fill, and there were no leaks. The pack itself is designed so well - the back gets good ventilation, the straps are in the right place, and all the pockets are really well-placed. There's a pocket with a soft lining for your sunglasses in the very top, a large main pocket (the second day had variable weather, and at one point I had a Precip jacket, a light fleece, and a light long sleeve shirt all stuffed in there comfortably), a well-organized outer pocket, and then a great outside compartment with mesh. Oh, and two side pockets for water bottles, etc. And this is all in a pretty compact, attractive pack. I couldn't be happier.

Anyone use this pack for trail running? I don't want something

Anyone use this pack for trail running? I don't want something that bounces a lot; I'm currently using a Nathan pack, but would like a pack that holds a larger bladder.

If you cinch the straps up you can quiet it down, but like most packs, it has quite a bit of lateral movement. Better than most though, my girlfriend uses this for cross country biking, and she says she hardly notices it.

Does this Camelbak have an insulated bladder pocket. My last

Does this Camelbak have an insulated bladder pocket. My last Camelbak had one and it is necessary! I just realized that not all Camelbaks have that.
