CamelBak Better Bottle Hands Free Adapter - 2008

It's super hot out and you don't want to wear a hydration pack but you'd love to have hands-free hydration action. Grab the CamelBak Better Bottle Hands Free Adapter. Take your CamelBak Better Bottle, replace the bite valve with the valve on the Hands Free Adapter, stash your bottle in your bike cage, and hit the road. Or stick your Better Bottle with adapter in your climbing backpack and thread the tube through so you can drink without stopping on long approaches.

Bottom Line: Hands-free hydration is still an option, even when backpack sweat isn't.

Great to use when you have a fanny pack. Lots lighter than having a blatter in a full pack.

Can you remove the connecting adapter and use the hose as a primary

Can you remove the connecting adapter and use the hose as a primary water tube directly from the bladder? I have two camelbak's and put a hole in one of the tubes. I'd like to use this tube as an extension on one and as the only water tube on the other.

Used for snowboarding

Does what it's supposed to without problems. My water did freeze but that's because I didn't put it in the insulated pocked in my Ruckus pack.

good deal for replacement parts

By:

it's cheaper than buying the bite valve and shutoff separately. if you need replacement parts for your hydration bladder (or a short hose) this is the ticket.

Awesome

I keep a bottle in my tankbag on my motorcycle and have the tube come out of a little hole and clip to the side of the bag. It's a little too short which forces me to have to lean down a bit so I can only drink at red lights or when in non trafficy areas like riding straight on the highway, other than that it's great.

Great for my road bike

By:
May 23, 2009

I was looking for an easier way to get water from my road bike cage bottle and I searched to see if CamelBak had a solution. This works perfectly. I bought two CamelBak Better Bottles and I just wrap the adapter around my handle bar and tuck the mouth piece into the handle of the Better Bottle to keep it out of the way. Just what I wanted! (If I had a con it would be that I wished that the bottle was insulated.)
