CW-X Pro Top Short-Sleeve - Men's - 2007

We live in the 21st century. Reap the benefits of the technology whirlwind. The CW-X Pro Top is one of the most technologically advanced training shirts you can find. The Pro Top's Conditioning Web exoskeleton gives targeted support to the muscles of your chest and back to reduce vibration and consequentfatigue. A handy side effect of all this support is total freedom of movement for the arms, no binding, and no resistance. Apart from the Conditioning Web, the whole Pro Top uses Coolmax fabric for superior moisture management and temperature control.

Bottom Line: George Jetson has nothing on you now.

CWX Pro Top Short Sleeve - Mens

By:

Outstanding product! Just make sure you get one to two sizes up from your regular shirt size for two reasons:

1) The neckline tends to restrict normal breathing if it’s too tight specially when you’re doing long runs and your body is already tired and worn out.

2) You want to get a longer than normal arm sleeves because the fabric is very slippery and tends to ride up all the time. This tends to be very annoying/irritating, especially when you're running a lot.

I'm 5'4 and 140lbs, got a little gut in the midsection, is the small going to be too tight for me?

Doubt it - I am 5'9 and 170 with a small pooch and wear a medium. The small should be fine.

Shoulder support

By:
October 10, 2005

I have both the short- and long-sleeve versions of the Pro top. I suffer from a bit of RSI in my right shoulder from spending all my working hours on the computer. The Pro Top really helps support the shoulder. Very fitted, it has a tendency to ride up when worn over a pair of tights, conversely being very slippery fabric when worn tucked into a pair of tights, the latter have a tendency to ride down. I go for the latter option and wear a slightly less fitted shirt over to top.

Good top for endurance

By:

I bought this top to go with 3/4 length tights for long distance biking and running – I’m a masters age athlete. I am happier with the top than the tights, but still not overwhelmed. The top is short and does not really work as a biking top except under a jersey as a baselayer. For the summer season, I can't really imagine wearing both. While I am not sure about the stamina claims, it does seem to help me recover somewhat. It also feels great next to your skin. Unlike the tights, there are not a lot of alternatives if you are looking for such a product - if price does not bother you, could be worth having.
