The number of ways you can wear the ContourWear Women's Long-Sleeve HoodieWrap is limited only by your imagination. Hood it, wrap it, off the shoulder, off the back, with a twist, or use a pin to create a look that's never been done. ContourWear made the HoodieWrap with its soft, plush wicking performance fabric.
Bottom Line: The Contourwear HoodieWrap is comfortable and creative.
loved the material, loved the look on on the model, but in real life, the shirt didn't fit the way it was suppose to. The cowel neck didn't bunch the way it was suppose to, it was too tight in the bicep area, the sleeves were way too long and it was very disappointing because it really would have been a great addition to my wardwrobe.
The fabric is wonderful on this product. The sleeves are made a little too narrow and a little too long. The hoodie is a great idea but it seemed there was too much "hoodie" and a little short on the body. I could not get the hoodie to do the things the photos showed as possibilities for the hoodie. I was disappointed because I thought the concept was great.
Love the fabric so I was really disappointed by the design and the fit. There is a bubble in the back of the shirt that I am very confused about. It doesn't quite work to be pulled down over the bum so I can only guess that it is for a tail. The neck is also much bigger than the photo shows. Overall, a poor design. Unfortunate because it looks so cute in the Contourwear photos.
Nice quality material but cut is wrong, makes my chest look really weird (deformed) and the cowl neck does not lay the way it is suppose to nor does it even remotely do any of the other styles the card (that comes attached to it) says it will. It's too bad too because I really liked the shirt and hated to send it back.
When I first tried this on, it took a few minutes before I realized it was upside down! There is a lot of fabric at the neck. It s a cool piece- very cozy fabric, and an interesting idea. I agree the sleeves are pretty fitted, so it might not work if you have bigger arms. The variations in the photos are a bit difficult to keep together, so you should plan to use a brooch or pin. I don't think I would use it for camping or hiking- really too fussy for that- but it would be a useful travel piece.
ok, i love the style, love the fabric (supersoft and cozy), but i am 5'4", 122 #, bust 35" with rather broad shoulders. i ordered a small.the shirt fits, and fits me well in the torso, but i can't spread the hoodie down over my shoulders to create the sort of top i envisioned (too tight). am sure if i went a size up the body of the shirt would be too big. sure, i'll wear it camping for a cozy comfort shirt, but not as a sexy top for travel. also, in the hood part of the garment the fabric is doubled, so it is rather thick. actually, i don't really think i'll wear it in public. should have returned it for the money since i'll only use it as a camping top. but, it may fit you correctly and then you'd have the perfect top for nights out, travel, camping, whatever!
It fits much tighter than my Contourwear wrap shirt. I usually wear a size 4, and the small in this shirt was skintight -- clingy and uncomfortable. I like my tops narrow and stretchy, but this constricting.
The fabric is like the thin polyester you find on the airline blankets. The fit is very narrow and tight (& I'm a size 2) and hoodie is massive. I too was disappointed in the quality and sizing.
I bought this for a 'one-bag' trip to Europe. I love the fabric, the style is really flattering, and I found it the most versatile thing I took. It looks stylish enough for a night at the theatre, and casual enough for sightseeing. The hoodie part is generous, and I loved the different ways it could be worn. I am a medium build, and I wore it with jeans, black pants, and the contourwear microsuede skirt. Those items and a couple of stretchy singlet tops were my entire wardrobe for 5 weeks. Love it!
Contourwear runs small. The body conscious fit can be very sexy, maybe too much for some. The measurements on the size chart are for a close fit, but not snug. The fabric of this top is clingy. You may want to try a bigger size. Backcountry.com has a great return policy.
I have this top in size small in black and wine. My shoulders are 38" and 35.5" bust. I would have tried on the medium if that were easy, but the small fits very nicely. The medium might have had room for a light layer underneath.
This top falls at mid-hip on me. I am 5'8" and 125#. This is not my favorite top because I have not found the right jacket to layer over it. It is comfy and has a lot of style.
if you are only taking one top, bring this one. It is warm & comfy and looks great with jeans or a skirt. Can be worn several different ways. I love the fit, warmth and versatility.
