Castelli Volo Partial Cycling Jacket - Men's - 2008

The wind might be strong enough to knock you over, but it won’t get through the Castelli Men’s Volo Partial Cycling Jacket’s windproof front panels and chill your core. The Volo Partial Jacket’s back features smooth Warmer fabric, which has a fleecy interior for warmth and wicking. A flip-up collar fends off chilly air when you fly downhill and a front zipper lets you vent during the uphill trudge.

Bottom Line: You could ride in a hurricane (were it not for the waist-deep water and flying debris).

Good for the commute

I commute to work and needed one jacket to keep me warm and visible. This filled the bill. The reflective trim is great. Really warm and excellent at keeping the wind out. I have ridden it down to 35 degrees with l/s jersey underneath and been plenty warm. It sure beats all the layers that I was bulking up on before.

I am 6 foot and 170lbs and the large is tight but not unreasonably so.
