CRKT Rollock 2 Knife - 2007

The CRKT Rollock 2 Knife—a sleek, razor-sharp, and versatile folder that's ready to go in an instant. For you knife-junkies out there, this is the production version of the original Rolox. We don't know what that means, but someone out there is bound to know and be stoked about it. All we care about is that this knife is compact, easy-to-use, and feels comfortable in hand. A handle length of 3.625 inches and a weight of only 2.3oz mean you can easily attach the Rollock 2 to a keychain. Columbia River Knife & Tool used mirror-polished AUS 4 stainless steel and a taper-ground drop-point blade for a reliable cut. The Rollock 2 doesn't fold like a typical folder. Its tip pops out slightly and then slides up with a push of your thumb.

Bottom Line: This folder doesn't really fold, but opens in an instant to reveal a masterpiece.

No idea what everyone else is talking about

This knife took a bit of practice but now I can open it as fast as a switch blade. Just flick the blade up and flick your wrist and the knife is locked in.

Those complaining about it falling apart must have been a part of some defective shipment, because I have owned mine for OVER A YEAR and have never encountered any problems.

I like the knife it took a bit to figure out how to get it open and closed. Still working on it, would have prefered to have it open easier, like a flip open.
It works for the jobs I use it on.

I love CRKT knifes I own 7 of them but this little guy is just impractical for opening. Not sure if the blade is good or not because I never use it but coming from CRKT I'm sure it is.

Normally a fan, but...

The opening on this is just too strange. Hard to open with one hand, harder to close. The mechanism seized up after a few weeks too, after exposure to nothing but pocket lint. I've bought a lot of CRKT knives but this one just didn't cut it (sorry, I had to).

I bought two, they both fell apart.
I can't believe CRKT will still sell these knives...they are junk and bring down the name....recall them all.
