CRKT Mini My Tighe Knife - 2009

Columbia River Knife & Tool asked master knife maker Brian Tighe to scale down his popular Tighe knife into a smaller personal carry version, and the Mini My Tighe was his answer. This knife features an OutBurst-assisted opening mechanism, which springs open the blade after you have opened it approximately 30 degrees. Use this knife on the river, at basecamp, or keep it in your pocket as an all-around utility blade. Flip it open with either hand thanks to the dual stainless steel thumb studs, and enjoy the easy and precise cutting action of the three-inch blade.

Are you guys ever going to sell this again on Steep and Cheap?

Are you guys ever going to sell this again on Steep and Cheap? I bought one before but it was lost on a backpacking trip. I don't recommend relying on the belt clip, especially in December when there's a ton of leaves all over the ground in the Southern Appalachians.

The Mini My Tighe is a nice knife, but for the price its going for here you might as well upgrade to the fullsize My Tighe from another seller. I love BC.com so I'm not trying to hate on them, but I got my My Tighe on ebay for a very good price. Other plus's are that the handle fits better in your hand, the blade is obviously longer, and it's slightly easier to open than the mini because it's thumb studs are better. And someone commented that the belt clip isn't reliable? Nothing wrong with the belt clip- I always make sure if I clip my knife to my belt or inside my pocket that it's in a safe place, and constantly make sure that I still feel it's weight. I've been trail running and rock scrambling with it clipped inside my pocket and it never came undone. :)
