The classic Columbia Women's Bugaboo Parka features a warm snap-in fleece and weather resistant Omni-Tech fabric for on and off the mountain. The Bugaboo's three-in-one system lets you choose your level of insulation. Wear the liner in to get through the morning chill and ditch it as the sun gets higher. The fleece cruises solo around town. Columbia's Omni-Tech fabrics shed wind and snow, and the Bugaboo's versatility guarantees optimal comfort no matter what the weather conditions. Stylish lines and a laid-back look ensure the Bugaboo looks as good around town as it does on the slopes.
Bottom Line: The Columbia Women's Bugaboo Parka—classic weatherproofing with a healthy dose of style and versatility.
Write your question here...I have a question about sizes??? I am 36x33x37 in. which should be a women's size medium except for the waist size. What size do I buy??
I got the red / white one and it looks great and fits well. Convenient snaps at the wrists, easy removable layers. Thin material but definitely keeps you warm. Could use a couple more or bigger pockets.
I like the looks of this jacket, but that's almost it. I found the sleeves on the outer shell to be too short, and it's so lightweight theres no way it could keep you warm. The fleece inner is the best part of the jacket. If you like fleece, it's a good piece, but not for the price.
I bought this Parka in Lime to replace my wifes 11 year old Columbia coat whose color and style were out of date (visualize a long, thigh length coat in purple, mustard yellow and black.) She loves the color and she loved the "girly" detail on the sleeve. The liner and shell are great items to wear separately and she knows that since it's a Columbia, it's quality and will last her a long time (just like the first.) The price here was so much better than Dick's Sporting Goods or Gander Mtn., it arrived on time, and there were no problems with it. It was a great buy!
Great customer service. I ordered the "Bark" color and decided to return it because I didn't like the color combination (brown ext, blue int). But otherwise nice. I'd say it's a medium weight jacket: not recommended if you are looking for a serious ski jacket, it works just fine if you want to walk or hike in the snow.
I have a yellow Bugaboo jacket - it's really nice, almost brand new - and needs the liner fleece that goes in it. Can someone offer a suggestion as to where I can find one in Canada that has the right zippers to put into the shell jacket? I've tried Sports Experts...no go!
http://www.backcountry.com/store/COL0383/Columbia-Benton-Springs-Full-Zip-Jacket-Womens.html This one is a Columbia jacket that is listed on the site. I recommend ordering directly from this site. I have had a lot of success, and if something happens to the product Backcountry.com with take it back and send you a new one, with no shipping fees. Keep in mind that you don't need to limit yourself to a jacket that zips in, I usually feel warmer in a jacket that is separate. Take a look at some of the Backcountry band windproof fleeces too.
