Columbia Silver Ridge Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's - 2008
Columbia made the Men's Silver Ridge Short-Sleeve Shirt with fast-drying Omni-Dry nylon fabric to create the go-to piece for travel, hiking, or just kicking around town. In addition to technical fabric, this Columbia shirt also provides sun protection when you're out on the trail for a bluebird day.
Bottom Line: Leave your cotton shirts in the closet and get outside with the Columbia Silver Ridge Shirt.
If you are looking for an active wear shirt that looks good in a business, casual, or merely laying around the house setting, look no further than the Silver Ridge shirt. I listened to the advice of the other reviewers about the size issues. Since I was on the border of small and medium, I picked the medium size and have been quite pleased with the size. The shirt is very light, and let me say that any cotton or cotton mixture shirt in my closet will be removed shortly. I have bought three of these Silver Ridge shirts and will shortly buy another two. Amazing! Great quality. Great colors.
This is an awesome shirt that is quick drying and very comfortable. This shirt also includes a mesh back panel for extra venting and quicker drying. I usually wear a size medium (5'10 145lbs) and usually a medium is pretty loose fitting. The Silver ridge fits quite a bit snugger then most other medium sizes. This shirt runs on the small size. If you are looking for a looser fit or are in between sizes, you are going to want to size up. Other then that, I have no complaints about this shirt. Good choice if you plan on doing to be active out in some hot weather.
Love the shirt. The shirt is rugged and will wear well over time. Although, I haven't yet been able to find the long sleeve version of this shirt online...
This is a great tech shirt without the overkill that most tech shirts have. They do tend to run a little small but if you order a size up you should be good.
Very nice shirts, there's zero stretch and it's fitted around the abdomen so probably not the best shirt for a huskier gentleman. I noticed quite a few stray fibers on the shirts I bought so a little clean up with some scissors might be needed.
I had the same problem as Lou with this shirt. It fits snug and I usually wear an XL. Not in this shirt. The material is light and very good for active wear for sure. I have never been a fan of their Jackets, but their shirts and hiking pants/shorts are very good quality and one to look for for sure.
