The Columbia Interchange System gives the Men's Bugaboo Parka jacket maximum versatility with a fleece liner that you can wear alone or zipped into its shell. The 3-in-1 Bugaboo Parka's detachable hood protects you against high mountain winds, and the soft fleece lining feels cozy on cold winter days. The multifunction pocket stores your iPod and wallet while the articulated elbows provide for a full range of motion. Columbia's authentic cut balances the Bugaboo Parka between a not-too-slim and not-too-loose fit.
Bottom Line: Dry winter and spring days call for the 3-in-1 Columbia Bugaboo Parka.
Did a good bit of research before purchasing this jacket and am very happy with the result. I am a first time skier and was looking for a 3-in-1 jacket. This jacket looks cool and is very warm and comfortable. The other potential jackets were The North Face Triclimate range and I thought the Bugaboo was better value for money. First day skiing was very cold and blustery and the jacket was perfect, second day was very warm so I unzipped the fleece and was good to go.
Do you know if you'll get any more sizes in the yellow color? I'm a girl and I really like this coat so I would need a small, maybe medium cause im pretty skinny. Any suggestions of finding this coat in other sizes?
A great, very warm jacket with an innovative 3 in 1 design. The fleece by itself is good and the outer layer would make a good shell, lots of inner and outer pockets but no powder skirt!!
I've tried a lot to find something to fit my expectations..but this is outrageous..the very best parka i've ever dreamed of..at least try it..and you'll be hooked!
Used my brand new parka in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, while trekking from Ushuaia to Harberton, across the Andes and down to Lago Fagnano. The three configurations were useful. No condensation inside. No rain passed through, although we had 6 hours per day of continuous pouring rain. I missed not having zippers below my armpits for better ventilation when heavy trekking under the rain. Overall, excellent. I am buying the same model for my wife.
I purchased a men's Bugaboo Parka in the fall of 2004 and just replaced it with a new Bugaboo Parka. Most of the changes are quite functional and positive.
The one feature I miss is having the hood rolled into the collar. Now the hood snaps-on. Since the Parka looks better without the hood, you miss having it around in the event of unexpected rain.
this jacket is COOL!!!...i'm a gear addict and i love this. i can say this is insanely awesome, something every individual seeking adventure outdoor must have. snow, water, night, day, this gear will put yourself to the limit!!!
Great jacket - First impression was that it was a little too fitted but it was built like that for a reason - now I just Love it!!! Wear it just about every chance I get.
I have owned several brands of jackets before but have to say this one is my favorite yet. It is warm, well-made, and soft inner material feels good. Keeping it short, but can't go wrong with this Columbia.
so far it as been great... that fact that you can split it into two other wears is great... i´m travelling in South America and the fleece has been invaluable. haven't tried it in rain yet but i dont think there will be much of a problem... defo recommended!
