Cloudveil insulated the Women's Inversion Vest with 700-fill down to provide you with core warmth when you're in the mountains this winter. Slip your hands into the tricot-lined pocket to thaw your chilly fingers as you check out the snow-covered horizon. The Inversion Vest's hourglass cut creates a close fit and eliminates dead-air space for more efficient insulation. This down vest's Mirage ripstop shell repels light moisture, and its breathable Cirrus lining slides smoothly over base layers. The Inversion Vest compacts nicely in your winter pack for backup warmth during a night in a snow cave. Cloudveil included an inner pocket, so tunes and snacks are always close at hand on the slopes or the trail.
Bottom Line: Let the Cloudveil Inversion Vest's down insulation bring more warmth to your winter.
A great vest option for both warmth and fit. It has a sleek cut and is very light and compact for travel/packing. Because it is less bulky, it can fit well both under or over other jackets and layers for balancing out the temps. Yet again a great feminine cut that hugs in where you want it too- keeping you warm without looking like the michelin man. Great layer for aerobic activities in the fall, winter and spring (or cooler summer nights), and as a back-up under layer for very cold days. The vest also handles moisture very well, and repels mild precipitation effectively.
I loved this at first but now I think the shell fabric was not the best choice in their design. It is a great fit, top product, totally solid, warm, does the trick, looks good too, but I now wish they'd chosen a softer outer shell lining. I love the lined, soft hand pockets. This is not a technical vest or anything, but great for around town.
Love the way this vest looks, but frustrated after ordering Small, Medium & Large - none of them fit! Beware, this cut runs small and is made for those straighter body types. Should have known most Cloudveil is like this. I usually wear a small. My shoulders and waist are narrow, but hips are curvy. The medium fit at the top but too tight on the bottom. The large too huge on top - gaping arm holes. This is sad because the color is so beautiful. Unfortunately, had to return them all and try something else. Thanks to easy return policy, at least that wasn't too big of a deal.
I could never find the right fit for a vest until I bought this one. I run any where from a sm to a med. I'm a size 34B and about 26 waist I ordered a med and can fit a sweater under it without it pulling under my arm or chest and I still have run to move. I think for me ordering a sm would of been too tight. I also use it when I layer for running. The vest is perfect.
I have this vest in tempist- a very rich color with a slight sheen. This vest fits close, looks cute with jeans and also works great as a layering piece for boarding.
