Cloudveil Koven Jacket - Men's - 2005

The Cloudveil Men's Koven Jacket is a sophisticated shell that offers watertight protection for hardcore backcountry users. In a traditional hardshell, when you exert yourself skinning a ridge or hiking in to a climb, you get warm too fast for the jacket to breathe. Cloudveil made the Koven Jacket from a waterproof fabric, Cloudburst Stretch EV3, which is twice as breathable as competing 3-layer laminates, allowing your sweaty exhaust to get out before you get clammy. This is achieved by using a tightly woven fabric that is treated to be hydrophobic on the outside and hydrophilic on the inside. Long story short, it wicks moisture off your skin and won't let it back in. Perfect for all snow sports, the Koven Jacket features an articulated helmet-compatible hood that you can adjust for optimum field of vision. Fully sealed seams and a storm-sealing collar keep face shots from becoming wet-neck shots. Other conveniences include a Napoleon pocket, easy-access Underarm zips for venting, and a layering-friendly athletic fit.
