I got a pair of these the other day and I love them! They make everything so vibrant, and i can look in the general area of the sun without squinting much.
Costas are wonderful!

do you have these with black frames? also compared to the hammerhead, are the lenses the same size? i've tried on the hammerheads, they fit my big head pretty well, are the fathom the same size? thanks, george

The fathoms are a smaller lens than the Hammerheads, and the frame is much lower profile/coverage. This is a medium lens size with a lightweight thin frame, whereas the Hammerheads are large lenses with a very large wraparound frame. Hammerheads are great at peripheral light blocking. You might look at the Man-o-war for a larger Costa with good coverage.

Costa Fathoms

These sunglasses are amazing. I have used them from the coast of the USVI to the top of Whistler mountain and skiing in the back country. They have held up to many days and eves of drunken debauchery and a few sticky fingered girlfriends. They always seem to want to snag my shades. Anyhow if you are looking for and extremely lightweight, comfortable and durable pair of sunglasses these are it !! Not to mention Backcountry.coms amazing satisfaction guarantee.
