Orbiting the Spirit Sphere

Are they a bit heavier than wire-gates? A bit more than draws with dyneema bones? Yes, and yes... But think why you're going to buy these: you just want a snappy gated, key-locking, nylon boned (read: no flopping all over, something to grab on to, wont degrade) biner that is super strong and rivals the Spirit. If 100g is not your limiting factor at this point in your climbing career and you're not looking to do ice climbs, these should be your biners. Sometimes, the all the stars align in just the right Orbits. (owned more than 6mos at review time)

I like these draws lots. Clean-nosed, streamlined and strong key-locking carabiners on both ends and no-nonsense nylon dogbones make these an excellent, inexpensive alternative to the now-standard, ever-more-costly Petzl Spirit Express. The dogbone is slightly too supple and there is no rubber "keeper" to hold your 'biner in perfect clipping position on the rope end compared to the Spirit, but in practice, I am nothing but very happy with this well-designed draw from Camp!

These draws are a bit on the heavy side, but not enough to dissuade me from recommending them. For the price, definitely a good buy.
