CamelBak Hydrobak Hydration Pack - 1.5L

The CamelBak Hydrobak Hydration Pack combines absolute comfort with a high-performance, low-profile design. Over-the-shoulder tube routing and a non-leak Big Bite Valve gives you quick, easy access to water on your trail runs and bike rides. A small slash pocket stores an energy bars and your car keys, and the Hydrobak's Airmesh back panel ventilates to keep you comfortable and dry. With a compact footprint and short length, the CamelBak Hydrobak Hydration Pack keeps out of the way of your bike helmet and stray tree branches.

Bottom Line: If you're looking for an easy way to bring water on your runs and rides, grab the low-profile CamelBak Hydrobak Hydratioin Pack.

HI thereI want to get back on my concept2 rowing machine. Is this hydration pack ideal? I really hate stopping my rowing to take small sips of water. Also would this fit a 200 plus pound man? Thanks

Great size for my kids. They are small, and it fits them perfectly. Highly recommended for kids 4-12 yrs.

I've been suffering with a dry mouth due to medication I have to take and this has made it difficult when working out at the gym without having to stop for a sip, for example on the rowing machine. My GP suggested using one of these. Would it really be practical? I'm also a little worried about the strange looks I'm bound to get!

You probably will get some weird looks, but if you don't want to carry a water bottle and stop to drink from that, this would work. I'd go with the "Estate Blue/Charcoal" instead of the "Hi Viz/Graphite" to avoid some of the looks.Or, you could just get a 32oz water bottle and just drink out of it while you walk from one machine to the other. You're taking a break then anyway. That's what I do.

Good Stuff

It works just as you think it would. It's a camelbak, therefor it is high quality. Snug fit is great for biking, hiking, camping, and maybe jogging if you tighten it enough. It's part of the family now!

I used a different camelbak on a winter hike and the tube completely frozen... I agree that you have to find a good way to insulate the tube because otherwise you will be carrying dead weight and be thirsty

My little brother uses it for skiing. Just insulate the tube.

Great minimalist pack

This is a great pack if you just want to carry some water and a few extra items (gels, car keys, cell phone). I use this on adventures where I will be out half the day and want to go light.

I would like to use this pack when I go running with my dog. If you've used this pack running does it bounce up and down or pretty much stay in one place. I don't see a chest strap so I'd like to find out before purchasing.
Thanks!

Yes it will bounce. It's worth getting the Camelbak Rogue (men/universal) or Dream (Women) for the cross-straps.http://www.backcountry.com/store/CAM0222/CamelBak-Rogue-Hydration-Backpack-21L.htmlhttp://www.backcountry.com/store/CAM0226/CamelBak-Dream-Hydration-Pack-21L-Womens.html

Excellent

I bought this for my 3 and 5 yr olds, they love it. Dad no longer has to carry their water, they do it on their own and they're happy to do so. I would recommend buying some replacement mouth pieces- kids tend to chew on it like bubble gum and it tears.
