The CamelBak Havoc Hydration Pack's burly nylon material withstands your harshest treatment, so go ahead and blast down the single track on your mountain bike. The Havoc's compression panel easily carries your full-face helmet, and if you're planning on filming your trail sesh, CamelBak's padded media pocket keeps your camera safe. The Havoc Hydration Pack's leak-proof three-liter water reservoir uses anti-microbial technology, so you can drink clear, clean-tasting water ride after ride.
Bottom Line: Wreak absolute havoc on your mountain bike ride with this CamelBak 3L hydration pack.
This is a very well made bag with a lot of awesome features. The padded camera pocket comes in handy. PLENTY of places to store just about anything you would want to take with you on a ride. I use this bag all the time. Great placement for the bladder. This bag has room for my rain coat, some snacks, spare tudes, tools, first aid kit, goggles (fleece lined pocket is a nice touch), and tire and shock pump. After all that is inside I still have the outside to strap my full face helmet and pads to! My favorite part about this pack it all the load stabilizing straps. These work very well and make it feel like you're carrying a much smaller hydration pack while you're ripping down the trail.
It has jst enough space 2 carry a days worth hiking, biking and even school stuff. And lets not even start on the cool look of it;p It has a nice weather proof pocket for your camera nd other valuables and a fleece lined one 4 your goggles or sunglasses. The front mesh is perfect for stuffing a jacket or extra shirt or pants.
I really like the size of the pack, initially buying it for mountain biking and doing long climbing routes. It can hold my hiking shoes, a jacket, water and miscellaneous other items. The compression panel does not work well for a biking helmet, but what really sucks is the water reservoir. When filled, even half full(1.5l), it causes the pack not to lay flat against my back. I resolved the problem by adding a stiffener and using a competitors' flatter reservoir. But most of the time I just throw a water bottle in the main compartment.
Does it have enough space to fit another bladder, specifically the unbottle 3Lhttp://www.backcountry.com/store/CAM0237/CamelBak-Unbottle-Hydration-Pack-3L.htmland if it does, is there a headphone hole or something where i could sneak the second tube out?
I really like the pack, i got it for mountain biking, it's a good solid pack, and it holds my all my gear and lunch plus the handy electronics compartment really makes getting at my camera and mp3 player a breeze while on the trail. The 3 litre water reservoir is great for those hard extended rides. I've had a couple of camelbak hydration packs and this beats them all, great buy for the outdoors rider.
ThHe site no longer carries my pack but this is essentially the same pack, it's the same fit as mine but I like the style of mine a little better. These things have plenty of room for all your gear for a nice day hike. I was looking for a good hydration pack with a good hipbelt, who wants to carry that 3 liters of water with your shoulders alone! yeah 3 liters isn't that heavy but a good hipbelt on a hot day makes all the difference.
If you're like me and don't ride without the essentials, this is the perfect pack. Tools, tubes, camera, and trail maps all fit with ease plus there's room for a lunch and a light jacket. The pic makes the pack look bigger than it really is, so don't worry about (see dimensions below in the Q&A). The area that rests on your back has vents which allow air to circulate between the pack and your jersey. And it really works too.
Perfect for a day hike or 4 wheelin' in the desert. Three litres a must in AZ. Lots of room...great pockets. Highly recommend for a one or two day trek.
