Burton Ultrastrap Air

One day, Burton got the crazy ass idea to fill an ankle strap with air. And it just so happened that it was awesome. The Ultrastrap Air is not only lightweight, it hugs your boot and prevents pressure points. Use this cushy strap with any men’s or women’s Burton binding—it comes complete with dual component Smooth Glide buckles and hardware. - Fall 2008.

Bottom Line: Get airborne.

Do these require a major breaking in time? I got a pair of Burton

Do these require a major breaking in time? I got a pair of Burton Escapade bindings which came with these straps. When the bindings came, these straps were stuffed in the back of the bindings and were bent (not curved). I took them out for a day of riding today, and the straps really squeezed both sides of my feet, so badly, that I could not ride the lift anymore after a few hours. Are what I got defective, or the straps require a few days of breaking in time?

better than the standard straps. the straps don't need to be as tight to keep you in the bindings securely. more comfort than last years straps. my feed don't get stingers using these.

These are ankle straps. First generation burton toe/cap straps had issues with rise. Newer toe/cap straps are much better.
