Burton Mighty Pant - Women's

Burton added non-bulky insulation to the waterproof breathable Women’s Mighty Pant so you don’t get chilled while waiting your turn in the park or sitting on the metal chairlift seat. The 10K-rated, seam-sealed fabric helps you stay dry as you snorkel in fluffy powder, and the taffeta lining wicks moisture on the inside. Burton gave the Mighty Pants its Sig Fit, or classic fit, which means they’re loose but not super baggy, and they’re a tad longer in length than Burton’s other styles. When you ride hard or temps creep upward, open the inseam thigh vents, and get some fresh air. Fall 2008.

Bottom Line: When you wear the Mighty Pants to fly around the ski hill, you should probably leave your red cape at home.

Sweet Pants

By:

Got these pants last time i was in the states, haven't worn them yet but they fit well just like the 'sig fit' says - not to tight not too baggy. If you have tried the Fly Pant these feel a bit longer and a touch roomier. I'm 5'10", 150lb the Ms just touch the ground when i'm barefoot so i just wear them a bit lower. I love the texture/pattern and they are thicker bordering on bulky but should be warm enough for those frigid days without extra layers.

I've tried on Burton pants before that were too short. Are these the long or short inseam?

They are normal inseam as far as Burton goes. This year they made their sig fit slightly longer to make them more stylish. I am 5'7" and these pants in size Medium were PLENTY long...as in, would have dragged in the parking lot.

Didn't Like the Fabric

By:

The pants had all the right features, but I ended up sending them back because the fabric was thick and textured whereas I like board pants that have smooth, thinner fabric such as gore-tex. The design was cool, though, and other than the fabric, I would have kept them. Sizing seems relatively normal on them as far as Burton goes.

zips down by the hem of the pants, that let them flare out a bit more for your boots.
