Lest the faux fur trim on the Burton Women’s Lush Jacket makes people think you’re a beater chilling in the lodge, zip up this Thermacore-insulated, double-layered Dryride Burton jacket and prove them wrong. The Burton Lush Jacket is plush with design features that accommodate you if you’re strolling down Main Street or charging down your favorite run, from its slim fit to its taped seams. Even small details like adjustable cuff closures and a microfleece chin saver make you more comfortable, which means more time on the mountain. **DISCONTINUED**
Bottom Line: Ride responsibly. No one likes a lush on the mountain.
Just like a Diamond, it has all 4 "C's", Cut (perfect), Color ( I got white, perfect), Clarity (it's clearly a winner), and Carats (with all those extra secret pockets, definitely).
I love this jacket. Comfortable with or without layers, looks great, especially with the little faux fur trim.
I'm tiny but busty, but do not neccessarily like to show the bust, so it was a great fit. Flattering and feminine. Does it come in other colors?.....Need another one.
Hey, im fairly small and usually fit into a womens XS would this fit me? im only 4"9 and 90 lbs lol. the jacket i was wearing didnt protect me at all i was always soaked! even my sweater was soaked under my jacket! so i needa water proof jacket! also is this jacket slim fitting?
XS would def be your size and the Lush will keep you dry. I wouldn't suggest wearing it in a rainstorm but with a 10k Waterproof rating, your sweater should stay dry. The Lush has a woman's specific fit with a flare at the bottom.
This jacket is awesome. The color is beautiful...the fit is great! There are lots of great pockets and gadgets that make it a multi-purpose jacket. I was debating between a large and a medium and I am glad I went with a large. It is a cute and tight fitting coat, so if you are hoping to fit a lot of gear underneath, keep that in mind!
Write your question here... I'm 5'3", 34B chest, size 4-6 in regular clothing and usually wear a small in jackets, but am afraid this one would be too tight. Any suggestions on sizing? I don't wear a ton of layers for boarding generally, but don't want the jacket to feel restrictive in any way...
I always size up in jackets, for comfort and mobility. Whether you have one or four layers, I'd rather a looser jacket than not being able to move my arms as much. It's really a matter of opinion. A small will fit, but yes, you may be restricted a bit when layering.
I've worn this jacket both skiing and just commuting into work, and I have to say it's one of the best jackets I've ever owned. It's super-cute and has tons of pockets to keep all your necessities. It's really warm, though the wind gets through it a bit on the chairlift-- not so on street level. I usually wear a medium, but I ordered a large (all that was left in stock) and it fits great! I've gotten more compliments on this jacket than any other one I've owned, and I am SO glad I bought it! A Backcountry gear expert helped me find it and was wicked helpful throughout the buying process.
Light, warm, fits great. Super cute. Love the lime green inside. Small pockets a minus though. If you carry a lot on you, this may not be the jacket for you. Otherwise, its great!!
I get so many compliments on this jacket! There isn't a ton of extra room for layering but I haven't been cold yet. Nice lines and details all over and several internal pockets whish I discovered weeks after wearing it. Great fit and great material.
I've worn Burton in the past, and had no problems fitting into a small. This is a slim-fit jacket, so order one size up if you're use to the normal Burton fit. The jacket was too small in the arm pits, and tighter around the waist. I ordered the jacket in black, and the liner comes in a hideous tiger strip that looks cheap. I had to return to Backcountry.
Is this jacket as tight fitting as they review says it is? Because I have a columbia titanium jacket, which is a women's large, and I wanted to buy this one in large as well, what would you advise? Do the sizes vary from columbia brands
I wear a med/lg in North Face. Ordered the large, too small. I keep looking at the tag expecting to find "junior" large. It is a fab jacket, really cute!

I especially like the hood on this coat. The faux fur trim keep more wind away from my face than other hoods. I had to return the first one as the zipper broke after 2 months of wear, but backcountry's customer service was exce;lent and the exchange was easy.
Have worn this coat on walks in 0F weather, and it keeps me toasty!
i've got the Black Polka Square one. The outer material is not what i'm expecting. It's kind of dull looking. The fit is not very comfortable even i ordered size Md insteads of Sm. The cuff is kinda big and there is no adjusting strap. Overall is so so...jacket. I'm in process of exchanging different jacket.
