Burton Hustla Jacket - Men's

Who says you can’t be a hustla in a slim-fit jacket? We beg to differ, and suggest you zip up the protective Burton Men’s Hustla Jacket to show the masses that dapper kids do indeed snowboard, and pretty damn well. Burton hooked up the Hustla with its Dryride Durashell two-Layer coated fabric that provides warmth and breathability in a highly mobile, lightweight construction intended to keep you on the hill longer. Burton knows that staying dry is the key to staying warm, and engineered the Hustla’s Advanced Lining Sysytem lining to keep your core warm while wicking moisture from your sides and providing maximum ventilation to your armpits and areas prone to swamp-age. - Fall 2008.

Bottom Line: Burton sets a precedence for on-hill hustling.

Fly Steeze for your Cruzin needs.

So, I asked how pimp this ish was before a trip to Utah... No one had an answer so I rolled the dice and with this setup... DID NOT CRAP OUT. I would give this gear a full Love it rating not only because I was shockingly dry the ENTIRE trip... But because I also looked fly as hell and did not see a single person rocking the same setup at all on any of the four mt's I have hit so far in this gear...

If baby Jesus made a coat, he would make one out of magic crystals and invisiable golden thread... It would let you fly and make you run faster then a speeding bullet that is strapped to one of those planes that flys faster then speeding bullets !!!

For the rest of us, we have the burton Hustla setup. You look fly as hell, you stay bone dry even in dumping conditions, you keep it real all at the same time...

I will be taking this setup to the wet slop of the north east for newyears... and the only thing I bet is going to be getting wet... is the chica's watching me shred face and bomb the tree's like a lumberjack with c4 fetish....

Pockets are good and reliable, quick access to the inner stash and the outters are pretty good... one thing that was ehh was the button pocket on the left lapel.. the button is tough as tonka to get open and closed even with gloves off.. but thats why there is five other pockets...

The zipper is dope and had no problems linking up and even at the top the face shield is as comfy as your velvatine rabbit.

Waterproof? this thing is niagra proof so far... and when snow gets on this bad boy the patterns show up better in the black untill it sluffs off... So you look good and stay dry.

The hood is good if you dont rock a dumpling bucket but with one it doesnt fit at all... I wish the hood could be removed because its not really needed however it does keep the back of your neck locked up from snow when you eat a bingger trying to stomp that rodeo in the back country...

The pow skirt works great and the zip in on the matching pants is even better... only down side is farts tend to waft up from the pants if your not careful and you catch a mouth of mush mush from the tush tush... (use your leg vents when you pass some ol PBR backpressure)

Lastly the pit zips are good but they should have made the zips go the reverse way... its not a big deal at all really but I am picky like a 3rd grader with a snot fetish...

over all I would give this jacket a 8 out of 10... only because it didnt come with two naked chicks to help me recover from a long day of floatin the stashes and booting kickers...

Does slim fit mean it would be too tight on a stocky guy? My husband has really wide shoulders and needs lots of room but this jacket is the perfect colors.

Its warm, light, and fits great. The hood comes around the face to cover you on those breezy lifts.

whats the steelo with these fly ass threads?? is this jacket

whats the steelo with these fly ass threads?? is this jacket going to cut it on the east coast storm front... is it going to hang in the deep Utah pow pow ?? BC in early Jan?? This jacket drips flavor like a 12 oz fillet and is sure to get the snowbunnies wet, but is this going to keep me dry??10k enough ? 15k enough ?? I am rocking a bombproof titanium right now but its so hoplessly bland that it makes me barf up unbuttered toast... Can anyone tell me what the deal is with this setup ?

Ritalin, nah I wish I had it though for 15 hour work days :( 10k is pretty good (thanks for the break down) but I was more looking for someone who has rocked them to give me an idea of build quality... Sure it says fully taped seams and burton has started making pretty tech heavy gear but I never messed with the durashell 2 and so on.... Had they been goretex (they would be twice or three times the price) but I wouldnt doubt them being able to be used as surfing pants aswell hahaha.... I am a boarder that was a correct assumption and while I am not going to be sitting in the park all day (I much prefer bombing glades and thrashing cliffs) I do get some sloppy conditions thrown my way on the north east coast... nothing worse then a wet ass on a chairlift rollin up whiteface in late January... you will lose patches of skin on arse behind... You may be right about the snowbunnies but the ones who like it are the ones I'm after!! :) Thanks Angus :)

this is a really great stylish outfit, 10k is pretty much enough to go 5 to 7 hrs on a storming condition. i wear bigger size pants for bagginess and the zip-in with the jacket made it perfect. the snow could stuck at the wrist if i button up so i leave them unbutton. the material of the flaps on the back pocket seem to attract snow too. i love this set, the pockets and the style make up the bad parts.
