Burton Custom V-Rocker Snowboard

Making the Custom Snowboard even better seems impossible, but that's what Burton did with the Custom V-Rocker Snowboard. With V-Rocker reverse camber technology, Burton made the Custom V-Rocker Snowboard even more fun to ride. This de-cambered rocker energizes edge control under you feet while disengaging tip and tail contact points for a catch-free feel with added stability and pop. With a amped-up edges, softer flex and slightly wider waist width this Burton all-mountain freestyle space stick cranks out other worldly turns, adds stability to your landings, and even more pop than its cambered brother.

  • The Channel binding mount system for infinite stance options, better board feel, and direct energy transfer (works with Burton EST and 3D bindings)
  • V-Rocker reverse camber for more fun and better board control
  • Dualzone EGD improves power transfer, response edge hold
  • Negative profile for softer flex and torsion is great for a variety of terrain
  • Triax Response Fiberglass is a versatile laminate with response designed for all types of terrain and jibbing
  • Lightning Rods and Carbon I-Beam for more snap, response, and control
  • Pro-Tip tapered tip and tail for reduced swing weight
  • Infinite Ride technology makes your board deliver consistent performance and feel from day one to day one thousand, so you never have to break your board in or worry that it's performance will fade
  • Pressure Distribution edges with Grip and Rip tune for awesome edge hold on hard, icy terrain, but tons of playfulness in softer snow

Bottom Line: Like adding glorious hot sauce to an already amazing burrito.

is v-rocker like a skate banana

It is similar... yet different.

Differences are in the construction... banana-tech utilizes a radial rocker between your bindings that than extends to flat underneath you feet before your nose and tail kicks.

Burton's V-rocker Breaks once between your bindings then extending flat underneath your bindings (similar to Banana) but Burton's than breaks again, upward rocking after the channel and before your nose and tail kicks. (see the picture)

No matter which rocker you choose make sure that it has an edge technology so it doesn't feel all loosey goosey ... Magna traction on lib and Pressure distribution edges (or frostbite) on Burton are designed for the same purpose... Aggressive EDGE hold!

Yes, very similar design. Burton's website has videos and what not that describe the v-rocker in great detail.
