Burton Board Sack

When you don't need an ultra-padded, fortified-like-a-medieval-castle snowboard bag, but you still want to protect your stick during travel, grab The Burton Board Sack. When your arms get tired of carrying the Board Sack, bust out the hideaway backpack straps and throw the bag on your back. This bag holds two snowboards, or one board and bindings, hats, gloves, and other winter layers. A zippered accessory pocket keeps your board wax and tools from roaming around in the main compartment. *Available for US shipment only. **DISCONTINUED**

Bottom Line: Padded backpack straps make carrying the Burton Board Sack that much easier.

Roomy

This bag rocks! The neon camo graphic adds a little understated style. The hideaway straps are simple and easy. The bag is durable and has plenty of space. My 166 holds a fully-mounted 155 com board, one pair of boots, helmet, gloves, jacket, pants, and has room for a second pair of boots. It could easily hold two boards if one were unmounted and maybe even 2 mounted ones in a pinch.

yeah they should fit if you just take the bidings off of one board. then stack the two and find some place in the bag to throw ur bindings, there will be room...and it says it holds two snowboards in the description, just doesnt specify with bindings or not

Not bad if no air travel...

This seems to be an excellent bag, except it tore after the first use. More padding would probably help... I will return mine and order a better one because I need a more heavy-duty bag for airline transportation, but if it's only you who is going to handle the bag, then I absolutely recommend it!

And another word re Backcountry -- those guys rock! The best store I've ever shopped at. Do not hesitate to take your business here -- I am very pleased with the service.

Good bag, holds a ton of stuff

The only thing bag I can say about this bag is that it's not padded. I used a long beach towel to fix that issue.
The pros on this bag. IT HOLDS EVERYTHING! Besides my board and bindings, there's boots, helmet, goggles, gloves, jacket, pants, socks, tools and lock with room for more stuff.
Good bag.

Do you think I could fit two pairs of alpine skis in here instead

Do you think I could fit two pairs of alpine skis in here instead of a snowboard?

The bag is probably too short, unless you have really short skis.

Not to Shabby

This is a good bag, your gonna get what you pay for, i mean it got a lot of room i was able to fit my pants, jacket, gloves, boots, the hole works in the bag, and when i didnt have that i was able to fit my 161 and my 160 with bindings on both boards in the same bag, although i did purchase the 181 for a little extra room. The sharp edges of the boards slit through the fabric in a couple places nothing major at all, if you are worried about that i would recommend getting a bag with a little padding. But overall this is a good roomey bag

I'd get the 156 so that it fits your board well, but if you want to stuff your boots and stuff in the end you can go with the 166.

Recommend, but watch for rips in thin material

By:
March 11, 2009

Bag looks great and fits a ton of stuff (board with bindings, boots, helmet, and clothes for 4 days all fit with room to spare). I also love the backpack straps, though found I had to walk with it at an angle to avoid hitting my shins. My only real problem with it is that after only two trips the material is starting to rip. The sharp edge of my board has made several slits in the fabric that I need to duck tape up now. But still well worth it.

Awesome overall

By:

The bag is awesome. There is a lot of space, enough to keep the bindings on and put your shoes inside (That's what I ended up doing). Also, if you wanted, extra stuff, there is that much extra space. On the back side, there are straps so you can wear it like a backpack and there is a shoulder strap (shoulder strap is removable) and one handle to hold on to. There is also a space in the back to hold papers or whatever that is flat or you can just put anything in there. The front has a pocket so you can put tools or socks or gloves or anything in there as well (I put my tools in there). I would totally recommend this to a friend.
