Burley Stroller Kit - 2009

You want to pedal downtown to the farmers market with your kids in tow, but you’re not sure what to do with them once you arrive. Instead of strapping a stroller to the top of your trailer, get Burley’s Stroller Kit, which lets you convert your trailer into a stroller and vice versa. Attach the stroller kit’s wheel to your trailer’s hitch; once attached, this wheel flips up out of the way when you want to bike and flips down when you want to stroll with your Burley trailer. You don’t need to lug tools with you, either. Burley threw in a wrist tether for added safety when you walk or jog.

My burley trailer came with the handlebar orignally. I would assume that since this is a "stroller KIT" that it would come with all the parts needed to convert your trailer to a stroller - aside from the handlebar that should have originally been included with your trailer.

I found one review that the whell drops while in bike mode. Is this true? Does it have this or other problems? I wanted to use it for power walks.

I have read the same review, but I'm sure there would be some way to keep the wheel from doing this if it happens to be a problem with your particular kit. I'm thinking about getting this stroller kit to use as an "all-purpose" jogger/stroller/trailer to use with my d'lite stroller, and if I have the same problem as the reviewer, I'll jerryrig something to make it work. Maybe the reviewer installed it incorrectly since he had some trouble??? I'm not going to take one bad review as being "the way it is".
