Brunton SolarFlat Rigid Solor Panel

Use the sun to maintain your batteries when you camp, boat, or travel. The Brunton SolarFlat Rigid Solar Panel comes in three wattages for different needs. The 2-watt panel maintains a charge in your boat or car battery, while the 5-watt panel charges small electronics such as cell phones, GPS, and digital cameras as well as trickle charges a car battery. The 15-watt panel charges everything from a cell phone to laptop, charges vehicle batteries, and runs small appliances like radios, lights, and TVs.

  • Amorphous solar cells work in both bright light and overcast conditions
  • Reverse flow protection ensures your vehicle battery won’t get overcharged
  • Weatherproof with aluminum frame for durability
  • Panels link together for more output
  • 15-watt panel comes with 10-foot cable, vehicle cable, battery clamps, and link adapter cable

Bottom Line: A lot quieter than a generator.

You should be able to at lease supplement the battery with the panel to get additional time. Whether or not it will charge depends on the amount of power the trolling motor draws while operating. Say, if you get the 15W panel and the motor uses 10W, you will be able to charge and operate at the same time.

Hi, I would like to know, Is there any advantage in having two

Hi, I would like to know, Is there any advantage in having two 15W sola panels hooked together, will I be able to power items that need more wattage to run?. I have a pickup camper with one battery, but have a few electronic items that need charging, plus I have a 700 watt inverter. Will I need to install another 12v battery to run the things I need and also charge the system. Can you tell me what I need to do. Thanks

They don't come in a 25 watt version, 15 watt being the highest available for a single unit. In order to get your 65 amps, you would need to hook up 65 of the SolarFlat units (each unit outputs 1000mA), but you’re likely going to see some funky output with that many linked together. Also, that's 303 square feet of solar power. You might want to consider an alternate solar/power source or contact Brunton directly to see if they have any suggestions.
