Brunton Gannett Two Burner Stove - 2007

Pack up the new Brunton Gannett Two-Burner Stove in its own stainless steel case, stash it in your trunk or pickup bed with your other camping gear, and head to the campground. The Gannett features two 12,000-BTU burners and piezo push-button ignition, so you can quickly and easily cook up pasta, your fresh-caught trout, or anything else for your family or friends. Hook it up to a one-pound propane bottle (not included) and get cooking. *This piezo-ignition stove may have trouble lighting above 8,000 feet.

Bottom Line: Cook like a gourmet at your base camp with the Brunton Gannett Stove.

You will need an adapter for anything bigger than the standard 1 lb. bottles.

Not for long-term use

By:
October 25, 2008

I have been using this puppy regularly for 1 year and it ain't holden up. Cooking oil (and food?) has caused the whole thing to start rusting despite being out of the rain. The folding back part fell off and the instant ignition is not reliable. Stills boils water but is not made for serious prolonged use.

Hi, my travel traler has a bracket on the out side with a gas quick connect located near by. Can you purchase a kit to adapt it to the gas line and mounting bracket that would hang on a travel traler?

Keep 'er folded

By:
September 8, 2008

The output of this baby is like an old man after a big spicy mexican meal. Like DR said, it simmers pretty good. The auto ignition works in controlled conditions. It didn't function very well in damp conditions as expected, so keep the cover folded when the rain starts falling. I give it four stars because it fits nicely in my side PackRat compartment and boiled a big giant pot of fresh sweet corn no problem.

It probably would, but you would definitely need an adaptor, which are usually available at outdoor/hunting stores. One pound propane canisters only.

This brunton double burner stove was a sweet upgrade from my Kmart special. The auto ignition actually works and you can simmer with this stove.
