Brooks-Range All-In-One Map Tool Pro

The Brooks-Range All-In-One Map Tool Pro is the most accurate map tool, scale, UTM Grid Reader and slope scale on the market.

Most map scales sold are just copies of other map scales and as a result are very inaccurate - 5 to 40%

This single tool as all of the scales commonly used in North America, South America, Europe, Japan and New Zealand - pretty much worldwide!

What is also realy nice is its matted finish which does not glare in the sunlight and make reading maps easier.

Both the Brooks-Range All-In-One Map Tool and Map Tool Pro are both waterproof

From their website, it says that this tool is made from non-glare, flexible plastic material prevents broken corners or tearing in cold and severe conditions. Based on that, I would think that this is waterproof.

I like this tool but for the money one can buy about 3 Map tools made by Adventure Racing. I am going to have to play with each for awhile before I can decide if the difference in price makes it worth it.
