Bridgedale Ski Midweight Sock - 2002

The Ski Midweight sock by Bridgedale offers a happy medium between a thick insulating sock and a thin performance-fit sock. Generally, the better skier you become, the thinner the sock you desire because you want to feel the boot with your foot as much as possible for better control. This midweight sock has a thermal toe box for those skiers who don't require maximum foot-boot sensitivity, and who appreciate toasty toes. An articulated Y-heel and forward flex construction provide a perfect fit inside performance boots, as well as reduce bunching at the front of the ankle. A padded shin area minimizes the effects of boot bang-ouch!-after you drop that 30 footer.

Bottom Line: Many of us agree-Bridgedale makes the best damn socks around. They last a lot longer than other brands and fit to a tee.

Perfect Ski Sock

Even though they were a lot thinner than I was expecting, they do a great job of keeping the toes warm, even on deep powder days. The black ribbing over the top of the foot is mostly elastic, which keeps them from bunching around your toes. The elastic in the calves is awesome. After two ski season of use, they still stay up, no bunching around the ankles. I always end up regretting using any other pair of socks. These are by far my favorites.

Perfect balance of feel and comfort

These socks were slightly thinner than I expected, but after a grueling Park City weekend I can assure you that they provide excellent padding and protection with minimal bulk. I bought one pair to try, I'm going to buy several more, I'm that happy with them.

Got lots of use at Copper Mt. in late March. Kept my feet nice and warm for the most part. Would definitely recommend them!

Happy Skiing

Wore a pair of these for the first time when I went skiing in Utah at Snowbasin. In short I loved the socks, they are not bulky or wooly feeling, and I'm somewhat of a tall guy and was nice to have socks that come up just under my knees. Two thumbs up. PLUS THEY DRY QUICKLY
