Bridgedale Impact Sock - 2006

Bomb down some single-track on your mountain bike, then go for a run, without changing socks. Bridgedale made the Impact Socks with a thin, lightweight cut for multi-sport athletes. Whether you're running, biking, hiking or cross training, Merino wool and Isofil will channel moisture away from your feet so you'll stay dry and comfortable. The Impact Socks are ultra-thin over the top of your foot with a little more padding along the bottoms and over your toes for impact cushioning with comfortable fit.

Bottom Line: Single track or road, you'll want these on your feet.

Great sock!

I use the Impact Sock for walking on my treadmill 3 miles per day. Never have blisters, always comfortable. Have also used for hiking and in my work boots while landscaping around my yard. They are much more comfortable than anything I have worn before.

Great pair of socks for mountain biking and hiking. Took them to the Kananaskis hiking and enjoyed wearing them all day. Kept my feet cool and dry.

perfect little sock

This sock has really nice comfort and thinness. It is not as thin as a regular bike sock - but the cushioning on the heel and toe is really nice.

good solid sock

Good sock for trail running. Takes up a bit more room in the shoe than most other socks I wear, but a real snug, well fitting sock with well placed elastic.

Great Impack Socks

I just love these socks. As I'm a heavy strider, my poor feet take a beating. I find these really help! My feet also sweat causing blisters. So far, I've had no problems.

Skated in them, and they're terrific. Padding in all the right places, very well made.

No blisters when jogging

I had these socks with me for a relay race but I didn't wear them for my first 5 mile leg and I started to get some heinous blisters under my big toes. I had two pairs of them so I wore them for my second and third legs (both about 5 miles each) and the blisters were suddenly a non-issue! Not only did I not notice the blisters but they did not get any worse at all. I wish I had worn these socks for all three legs of the relay!
