Bridgedale designed the Women's Trek Sock for hiking anywhere in any season. Merino wool and Isolfil ensure dry, warm and comfortable feet on the trail. Bridgedale's Trek Socks are the only women's-specific sock approved by Gore to maximize the effectiveness of Gore-Tex footwear. These hiking socks' double cuff and Lycra grip-zones at the ankle and instep keep the socks in place without unnecessary tightness. Forward Flex Technology prevents bunching and a Y-heel and smooth toe seam make for one comfortable sock.
Bottom Line: The Bridgedale Women's Trek Socks maximum comfort and breathability for Gore-Tex-lined shoes and hiking boots.
Being a Floridian, I shun socks whenever possible. But you just can't get around them when hiking. I just returned from a 5-day trek on the Benton McKaye trail in north GA, and these socks didn't fail!
They wick extremely well, and the padded cuff is very comfortable. My favorite feature is the clean toe-seam -- no pressure at all, either on the inside or out.
Well, I have to admit, I had my flip flops on every chance I got, but it wasn't the socks' fault! I blame my shoddy flat Florida feet!
I bought one pair. Loved them. Bought 6 more pairs. I find them the perfect weight for all-around wear for fall, winter, spring. A little too warm for me for summer unless it's a cool mountain evening.
These socks are great. Highest recommendations! They're just thick enough, but not too thick to make my shoes too small. They're cozy. They're versatile, have worn them under Chacos at the start of a cold rafting day, in addition to hiking, of course. Do Not make feet sweat.
With heating fuel costs on the rise, I wanted my family members to keep warm this winter. As we turn down the thermostats, we will remain cozy with these fabulous socks. They're soft, thick, and will insure comfortable feet on those chilly floors.
