Black Diamond Xenos Harness

When the temps are down and the ice is in, pull on the Black Diamond Xenos Harness and head for the nearest mixed cave or frozen flow. Thanks to Black Diamond’s Kinetic Core Construction that evenly distributes weight along the harness, the Xenos provides all day comfort without excess bulk and padding. Six ice clipper slots and four molded gear loops neatly organize all your screws and draws, while the pre-threaded Speed Adjust buckles on the waist and legs accommodate varying layers.

Bottom Line: The premier harness for winter cranking.

Undecided between this harness and the Arc'teryx X350a All-Around

Undecided between this harness and the Arc'teryx X350a All-Around Climbing Harness. I am looking for a comfortable all-around climbing harness. I have tried both of them on and they both seem to be very comfortable. I just can't seem to make up my mind. Any advice?

Well, I have had an Arc Teryx one for a bit now, got it in March, and it is ready for the trash...granted I have worn it about 100 days since March, as I am a full time climber and guide, but I loved it. So comfy and packs smaller than the BD's...BUT I think the BD's are a bit more durable as my wife has had one the same amount of time and it is still good to go.

This harness is great! I've had this the last few weeks and it is great for sport and trad. Will be using it in a couple months for ice, but i am sure it will perform flawlessly. It is incredibly comfortable and comes with an ice clipper! The clipper slots are positioned great, gear loops are perfect, and the adjustable buckles allowed me to move from my Petzl over to BD. I do wish the waist had double buckles, but my waist size has the belay loop centered anyway. Highly suggest this for any climber.

Not in the description, but 1 Ice Clipper IS included!
