The Black Diamond Quantum 45 Pack takes on single-push alpine ascents and days of ice climbing with the same clean, functional features and extremely low weight. Though this climbing pack makes it under the four-pound mark (even before you start removing stuff), it includes two tool holders, crampon straps, and a suspension system that can take a lot of weight. Plus, you can strip this Black Diamond pack to nothing more than a sack with shoulder straps if you want to get serious about saving weight in the mountains.
