Black Diamond HotWire Quickdraw

The Black Diamond HotWire Quickdraw combines a keylock carabiner and a wire-gate carabiner to make clipping as fast and easy as possible for routes where it really matters. On the rope end of the Dynex dogbone a rubber straightjacket sleeve holds the HotWire carabiner in place to keep it properly oriented for clipping. The keylock gate on the Positron bolt-end carabiner makes cleaning steep routes a snag-free (read: much easier) process.

Great draw

I recently invested on my own gear rack. I wanted something super light, but strong enough to hold my super lead whipper. I have no regrets on getting these draws. The wire gates clip smooth and the keylocks make cleaning a breeze. The ONLY thing I have to criticize is the 10mm dogbone. I'm used to climbing with a much thicker dogbone and it's only a mental thing -- I have had no problems. Great draw~

These are the next generation. Love the ease of use with one hand, plus their light weight is great for sport, trad, or alpine.

I have 6 of these draws and few other random draws and these are by far my favorite. Always the first to be clipped! I like them so much I'm planning on buying 3 more!
