If a simple and sleek stainless-steel bottle suits your hydration style, the Bilt Fresco Water Bottle’s just the thing for you. Oh, and if you don’t like scary plastic residues in your water, you’re also in luck. The Fresco Water Bottle’s opening and thread pattern are even compatible with many major water filters, and you can loop a carabeiner through the top to clip it to your pack, harness, or bag
Bottom Line: Or even make your dog carry it. The possibilities are endless.
Stainless steel water bottle is great. But, the polypro plastic cap is in direct contact with the water especially when the bottle is laying on it's side. Would the bottle need to remain upright at all times to avoid the plastic cap from leaching into the water?
cool product, just what I was looking for with a good price tag. Bottle get's really cold when filled with ice water, so the little handle on the lid is handy. No metallic taste and I like that the mouth area to drink from is plastic so your lips don't stick.
Have been using this bottle for a few weeks now. I've been pleased with it as a replacement for my old lexan nalgene. It has the same threads of a nalgene but with softer edges that are more comfortable to drink from. I like the no-frills metallic finish (nothing to chip off or scratch up). No problems with funky tastes or odors. Quite pleased.
Bilt also has a water bottle called "Mizu" which has a flip top cap that I think also fits on the Fresco. How can I get either the Mizu bottle or the flip top lid for the Fresco? I've checked all over on line, but other than their own site, which you cannot order from, I can't find either water bottle or lid. Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks!
CONS:Not the best stainless bottle out there, it isn't very stable and has a tendency to easily fall over. Also, the mouth opening doesn't support those little rubber splash guards (which i like).
The bottle shouldn't have any trouble fitting into a car cupholder, but for whatever it's worth I prefer Camelbak's Better Bottle. They're BPA free, super durable, and I know for a fact that they fit into car cupholders, the .75L is almost always 'compatible'.Better Bottles keep the water at easier access, no need to unscrew a lid to drink; just bite and suck. They're completely dishwasher friendly, they don't leak, and they also make killer gifts.http://www.backcountry.com/store/CAM0269/CamelBak-Better-Bottle-w-Bite-Valve-75L.html
