Big Agnes Big House 4 Tent: 4-Person 3-Season

Take the family car camping with the Big Agnes Big House 4 Tent for four people. This large, spacious three-season tent features easy set-up so you can pitch it in a hurry and move on to making dinner for your hungry kids. Big Agnes made set-up a cinch with color-coded poles that both slide through sleeves and clip onto the main body and buckles that attach the fly. Mesh floor pockets help family members stay organized, and a high ceiling means that you don't have to crawl into this tent. When a storm rolls in, the fly keeps you dry, and a built-in welcome mat gives kids a place to stand or sit while they remove their shoes. The Big House Tent packs into a briefcase style carrying bag, so it's as easy to pack as it is to set up. Split between two adults, you could carry this luxe tent into the backcountry.

Bottom Line: Camp in roomy comfort with the family—pack the easy-to-set-up Big Agnes Big House 4 and live large in the woods.

The extended vestibule is sold separately. I didn't see it on backcountry.com, but you can buy it directly from Big Agnes here:http://www.bigagnes.com/str_tents.php?bid=11It won't be available until January 30th though.

Incredible Tent

We have had our Big Agnes Big House 4 tent for about 3-4 years now, and we have loved every minute we've spent inside it. We camp about once a month, so it has gotten a lot of use. This tent is absolutely amazing. We are a family of 5 with three adults and two teenagers, and although we rarely are all camping together at once, we all are able to fit in the Big House 4 (with our sleeping pads and bags) comfortably. We've used the Big House 4 to camp in Spring, Summer, and Fall and it has kept us comfortable in all of the elements. It is a breeze to set up as well. It can easily be set up by one person, but because of its size, there are usually two of us working on it, and we have it ready in no time. One of our poles has become slightly bent due to some mishandling, but it is not enough to cause any problems. The Big House 4 is an amazing tent that is definitely worth owning, especially for a big family of avid campers. You will fall in love with it!

They're clipped in to the same hooks as the main poles. There aren't any hubs on this tent.

I tried to research the Mondo Condo but all resources have dried up. The Big House 4 does great in windy situations but not as good a lower profile tent. The Mondo Condo has been replaced by the Moken 4 which is 4 sq. ft. larger, 7 lbs. heavier, & has a 45 sq.ft. living/vestibule area.
