doesn't make sense to me.

I have the big agnes sleeping pad that slides into the back of my big agnes sleeping bag. I found that once I had this set up in my tent the last thing I wanted to do was take it out and put it with my chair. Too much fussing about. I'm just going to get a lightweight seating pad or lighweight crazy chair instead.

Guess it is a matter of preference. This is a very lightweight option to convert your pad (which you already have to carry) into a very comfortable 5" cushion chair. So, instead of putting in the effort into moving your pad around, you're going to go through the effort of carrying a much heavier chair, because it is less "fussing". Guess it's a matter of preference....
