This bar stinks the chicken loop rope has worn out after only 4 times of use . I don't know why maybe cheap rope or the metal insert in the bar but its not good since Best charges $26.00 for a new one . Check out the kite fourms before buying this bar .I wish I had . I am going to sell it and go back to my 2007 bar which works fine and is better quality .

We haven't had any issue with 09 bar. I'm still using my 9 months old 09 Best bar. I haven't seen any wear sign yet.

Is the bar still made of PVC and wood screws like the first one I bought at Cloud 9 was? It should be sold as a kids toy not high end kiteboarding equipment.

I don't know what bar you bought from Cloud 9. Do you have pics of the first one you bought. The bar is made of carbon fiber and high quailty plastic on both end from the beginning for your information.
