Baffin Impact Winter Boot - Women's

Designed for use in the planet's coldest regions, the Baffin Women's Impact Winter Boot is rated to an amazing -148F (-100C). A two-buckle closure provides easy access when you're wearing gloves so you won't risk loosing fingers just to lace up your boots. A snow collar tops the 1000d Diamond-Lite insulated nylon upper and keeps your feet nice and dry. The Impact has removable liners so you can warm them up in your sleeping bag at night. A narrow heel profile will help these boots fit your feet great and the GelFlex shock absorbing system will keep them comfortable while you're pulling the sled over the miles ahead.

Bottom Line: Keep you feet warm when it's really, really, really cold.

Write your question here...Do you make these boots with velcro straps instead of the buckles? Five years ago I bought a pair and would like to buy a similar pair?

I am sorry all of the Baffin boots in stock are buckle or lace ups. Buckles and laces have been deemed as superior to velcro so it is not used as much any more.

Toasty warm

By:
August 21, 2009

I work in a -20 freezer for 10 hours a day, and these boots keep my feet toasty warm. I do not feel the cold at all through them. The insulated lining is soft and springy, conforms to the shape of your foot, and provide excellent support and comfort. The one draw back is that they are HEAVY, so I wouldn't recommend them if you plan on walking for long periods of time. All in all I love these boots and would highly recommend.

Womens Baffin Boots

Every women in Canada and anyone else living in cold climates Should have a pair of these boots with them at all times when they travel even a few miles from there home. I can't tell you how important it is to prepare for the elements. I lived in northern Alberta most of my life and nearly lost my life several times for not dressing warm enough especially if you hit the ditch when driving and have to walk 15 miles to get help. Keep a pair in the trunk of your car they could save your life someday. Were them if your power goes out in your home. Great for giving to a grand parent. I will be buying a pair and at 139.95 no one has an excuss not to buy a pair they are afforable. Your life is worth the price. When buying Survival gear always buy a higher rating. You can always wear layers of socks and remove layers when needed.

Highy Recommend

I bought these boots in hope that I could have warm feet for once. My feet are always cold and are even more sensitive since my foot surgery 9 months ago. Granted I have not wore them other than snowmobiling, but I have not yet have had cold feet. I only wear one pair of normal socks(not heavy wool or 2 pairs to keep them warm!). My feet would always get cold no matter what the temperature is, but not now. They are not too bulky and are light weight. I love them. Those of you out there that have cold feet, these are the boots for you!

I just got these boots in the mail and love them. The only problem

I just got these boots in the mail and love them. The only problem is that the size 8 I bought (my normal size) will only allow me to wear a normal sock. Should this be sufficient? The temperature range I work in is -20F(-29C) to 15F(-10C). It would be too difficult to exchange them under my time crunch. Thanks!
