Keep you noggin cozy whether you're up for a day on the mountain, or just hanging out in town. The Backcountry.com Fleece Beanie shows your love for your favorite online gear retailer—and who knows, it may help you get some love in return. Watch out for cougars.
Bottom Line: Stay warm and keep your cool in the Backcountry.com Fleece Beanie.
Last year I purchased a "Backcountry.com The Goat Helmet Liner". How does "Backcountry.com The Goat Fleece Beanie" differ?I like the thin fabric of the helmet liner so I could use it as a second layer under another cap for colder, windier conditions or as a stand-alone for only slightly cool conditions.
The goat fleece beanies are great for under your helmets or on there own. They wash up well and fit in you pocket. I bought some adult smalls for my 7 and 9 year olds boys and they fit them just fine.
Yes this does cover your ears. This is coolmax with a light sweat band around the brim of the skullcap. This is great for spring and summer riding, but will not keep you warm in the winter.
This is a pretty thin beanie, and fits really snugly on your head. It won't keep you very warm on its own, but it covers your ears and it's thin enough to wear under something else to give a little more insulation. I have a pretty small head (about 21") and it fits me fine.
The material is nice but its WAY big in a size small. WOuld be good under a helmet etc. It's way too deep and I wear a 7 1/4" hat. Oh well. BC rocks anyways!
Great for cool nights on the trail, great for cool days hiking; if you have one of these hotel shower caps, put it over it and become warm and rain-proof.
CON: sized SMALL, get the largest size. Almost too snug!
A 7 7/8 head is simply too darn massive to fit inside an XL beanie. That is unless you really enjoy cutting off all circulation to your scalp. If so, you may be on the wrong web site. Wish it came in an XXL
I'm sure this is a very good hat if you have a small head. I don't have a small head so I thought it sucked. Excluding the fact that it didn't fit, it was light, soft and well constructed.
Works great on cold days as a helmet liner. Worked really good on a bluebird day in the pow. Seemed to wick the moisture away from my head. Feels nice on the dome!
