I have a puppet size head and this skull cap fit well. I would assume it would adjust to fit all head sizes. Took it on a fishing trip to AK and it did the job.

Pretty Good

The concept and material of the hat are awesome. However there is stitching around the middle of the hat that makes it a little tight. For one, I do have a fat head so the hat seems to ride up on my head do to the tight stitching loop around the middle of the hat. I love the material, but can someone please explain the purpose of the stitching around the middle?

Would this be a good hat to wear overtop of a balaclava? I'll be going dogsledding in a couple of weeks in northern MN, and I was thinking that this might be a good compliment to the balaclava, allowing for layering flexibility.

Yes, this Beanie would be a great compliment to a balaclava - especially for dog sledding.

Polartec powerstretch is a great material, light, warm, breathable, wicking. Told my sister to get this for my brother-in-law and he loves it. For the price you really can't go wrong.

I was a little skeptical at first, but when your logo is as bad a$$ as a mountain goat, the product should match it. This beanie surpassed my expectations in warmth and was extremely breathable. It kept my noggin nice and warm, and when I started to sweat wasnt too hot. Great product. I would by more backcountry.com gear.

This did the job perfectly for me. I took it on a 4 day weekend trip that saw both ends of the temp spectrum and I was always good to go. Very comfortable for, just wish it covered the ears a tad more.

That's a perfect use for it, depending on how snugly your helmet fits. Get it, try it, and if it doesn't work BC's customer service is top notch. They'll hook you up.

I have to admit that when I first got this beanie that it looked just a tad bit to small, but I went a head and put it through one of my PT sessions while I was in Iraq. It kept my head warm and didn't itch like the old wool caps. I wear this thing everywhere now when It it's cold and it's stylin' too.
