This hat is an excellent fit, thus the flex fit. Goat on the front-Backcountry on the back. Will be sportin' this one for a while. Hurry up, get this while its pimped out on sale...!!!!

Bought it to go kayaking of the West Coast Canada.....warm, durable and even when soaking wet (never saw the wave coming).....stayed warm. Lived in it for 6 days. Fit perfectly and I was skeptical buying a hat on line.

I have a small head (stop snickering) and the small/medium actually fits. I have a hard time finding a good shaped hat that doesn't look and feel to large, and you nailed it with this one. I love the light blue as well. Great deal and great hat.

I love this hat. I have a large head, and most XL hats won't fit, but this hat fits perfectly. Love the color and the backcountry symbol. Simple but stands out.

After reading reviews that the hat was loose - even on guys with big heads - I was encouraged to buy the hat. I wear a 7 1/2 - 7 5/8 fitted baseball hat and I ordered the L/XL hat. After wearing this hat for about 90 minutes, not only was it uncomfortable, the stiched words from the inner elastic band was actually READABLE on my forehead when I took the hat off!

The hat is very high quality and good looking, but if you've got a big melon, the L/XL is more like an L...

I've had my eye on this hat for some time so when one in my size came up, I immediately ordered it. Good news, bad news. I like the style, the fit and the looks and the incredibley good service. However, one of the reasons I wanted this particular hat was it was made of wool(see description). When it arrived and I checked the label, low and behold, its construction was stated as 15% wool, 83% accrylic and 2% spandex. That's not exactly what I would call a wool hat. I am a little disappointed in backcountry.com about that. However, that said, I like everything else about it and I really don't want to quibble, although I guess I am. I wanted wool to ski in on relatively warm days when I needed something light but water resistant. I think the combination of materials in the hat should do it, maybe even better that pure wool. Still? What say you?

I own my fair share of BCs Goat logoed products. This has is probably my favorite of the lot. The hat hits like a charm( its a S-M, my head has approximately a 23" circumference). The length and stiffness of brim is perfect. The depth of the hat is also just right, and the look and feel of the material couldn't be better. It looks cool, I've had more complements than I can count. I have the Brown, hopefully they replenish the color supply, I'll want another when this one, if ever, craps out on me.

Great hat. Not too deep or shallow. Just right. And you gotta love the flexfit. I wear a med. helmet and the sm-med. size fits perfect.

I don't have the biggest dome on the block (not sure my hat size, I've been wearing flex-fit so long now), but the L-XL fits comfortably without resting on my ears.

I snagged the Navy Blue (before it sold out apparently) and it looks really great. I dig the simplicity of the design and the hat is the quality you'd expect from Backcountry.

If you get this hat, you will not be sad about it.

Frist, I couldn't be more pleased with the style, appearance and fit of the hat. It's great inthose respects as was the very fast shipping. However, to claim this is a wool hat as the webstie does, is stretching things a bit, IMO. The label in the hat states it is actually made of 85% accrylic, 2% spandex and 15% wool. Not exactly a wool hat by my definition. Still, I bought it primarily for x-country skiing in relatively warm temps and I think it will still work fine for that being made of those materials. And I like everything else about it so I reckon I'll be keeping it. Still?

Low key style with the goat logo, fits great if you like FlexFit hats. Comfy enough to wear all day.

Purchased this hat for myslef and a couple nephews. The hat fits me perfect, has a great shape and the logo is the sweet! I wasn't sure if my high school nephews would like it but their dad called and said they were a hit.

I wear 7 3/8 fitted hat, and the L/XL was way too big for me. Great looking hat though!

This is a great, comfortable hat, but unfortunately the S/M is still a tad too big for me. I have worn it a few times and I either have to tuck my ears underneath the hat or have them awkwardly stick out...I will be giving this to my brother as a gift and I am sure he will be super stoked on it.

Admittedly, baseball hats are a comfort zone thing for me, I've always had a favorite hat, and worn it all day everyday that I'm out of the office. Having just lost my favorite hat of 3 years to my 1 year old border collie, I was in the market for a replacement. I was drawn to the low key, minimalist nature it's design, not to mention the flex fit since I much like previous reviewers have a huge noggin. I've now been wearing this hat for 2 weeks, after work and on weekends. It is a comfortable fit, whether you're hitting some balls at the driving range with the boys, or hiking with your girlfriend. Not to mention, I've had at least 2 of my friends and a slew of strangers ask me where they could get one. Mine's in brown, but I'd consider getting a back up in black, in case the puppy strikes again. Definitely a solid hat.

Great hat, good fit. I have a huge dome and the L/XL is still in no way tight, which is great since I have a hard time finding fitted hats that well, fit. Pick one up.

These FlexFit BC hats fit great! I generally wear a 7 1/8" and the Small/Medium fits well and having the Goat embroidered on the front makes it perfect. I am more than happy to wear BC's products because they are the BEST outdoor company to deal with. I loved the hat so much that I ended up ordering the other three colors.

I've got a large melon on top of my shoulders with a head size that runs XL somewhere between 7 3/4 - 7 7/8" so fitted hats are out of the question until this hat. It's like Stretch Armstrong and sponges out to fit my egghead. Thanks BC and love the goat symbol.

I got my hat today and I'm wearing it as I write this review. I love this hat and you will too -- all the people will love you for it.

Nice simple hat - solid color, with the BC goat on the front that everyone asks about. I'm just between the medium and large so I bought the large. Not too loose, fits well. I knew it wasn't adjustable to begin with, so no surprise there.
Can't complain about anything, this hat met every expectation. Not too flashy, good looks, clean design.

The hat looks great on the site and the felt is nice, but beware of how the hat fits your head. Of course, a lot of this depends on preference, but:

1) Get a smaller size than you think you need. I usually wear a size L hat from a mall-based competitor, so I figured I'd get the L/XL here. It fits large and there is some extra space in front of the ears that looks a bit awkward.

2) I prefer a laid-back cap kind of feel, the kind that fits pretty snug to the top of your head and looks less "urban." This hat will fit pretty high on your head and have lots of space between your head and the top of the hat. If you are the type of person who wears your brims flat with the stickers still on them, that may work for you. I like them more pressed against my head. To achieve that look with this hat, you need to pull it down to where it is pushing on your ears.

Despite all this, I still wear the hat sometimes and like it.

The best hat I've ever purchased.

I have a gigantic melon (7 5/8 hat size) and this is the only Flexfit hat that I have ever found that doesn't give me a headache after 30 minutes. Plus it is well made, rocks the goat and is a good price. Picked up a black and brown so I would always be prepared.

Fits great, gotta love the flexfit, and i always love the BC Goat logo as well, especially the well placed logo on the front, doesnt have the same old center placement as everyone else, cool hat.

The hat looked really nice on the site. When I got it I was definitely disappointed. The material the hat is made of felt kind of cheap. Also the fit was weird.

This hat has a nice dome shape for that skate fit - Flexfit - and it's made to fit right!

Love this hat, the goat is nice and lowkey unlike some other branded hats you see from other companies. I bought the L/XL which fits me perfect, I was worried that it might not since I wear a size 7 3/4 fitted hat but it fits like a charm. The material is really sturdy and I've been wearing it for about 5 hours now with no discomfort. The black looks great although I'm going to pick up one of the brown I think too! Represent your favorite outdoors company...BC what what!
