Bottom Line: The Backcountry.com Women's Goat Liner Glove shows your hands the kind of love they really deserve.
Loved these gloves... took them to the Arctic and were everything I needed. Kept me toasty, sticky fingers were great with my video carmera -- used a waterproof shell when needed -- look nice, too!
These gloves are so versatile. I can wear them under my mittens for extra warmth, or alone on not so cold days. The grib on the palm and fingers make them awesome for driving. All and all, these gloves are a GREAT buy.
I usually wear a size small, and my mittens are a small, but according to your sizing chart, I should buy a medium in these Goat Liner Gloves. From tip to wrist, my hand measures 6 inches. Is your sizing chart correct? Or should I go for a small?
My whole family has these gloves and we wear them for everything. Use them for liners under mittens or for when shoveling the walk or snow off the car. Kids wear them to school and for snowball fights. Easy to stuff in pockets or consoles.
I bought them for skiing, but they have become my favorite running gloves. They keep my hands warm, dry and comfortable...I don't even think about my hands running in 14 degree weather with 25mph winds. And the goat grips really make small tasks much easier.
As a glove on its own, it's warm enough to ski with as long as you don't get it wet. The grippy palms are great. If you do want to use it as a liner, though, your outer gloves have to be significantly bigger.
These gloves would be great for so many things. I use liners for cold days running, put them under my soft shell and pipe gloves. The fit on these gloves are phenomenal. I should know I was one of the hand testers for fit. The medium is dialed so perfect for a medium hand and glove, and for the other sizes as well. Use these when you jump in the car in the morning and you are headed to the mt and your hands are cold. I use liners for spring riding days also. These have so many uses it is crazy! The grippers are in shapes of lots of goats connected and I think it looks great!
These glove liners are perfect. They are durable and the perfect weight. They are very warm and good to wear under my gloves on the frigid ski days but also nice to wear alone on the warm days of spring for casual wear. You should have your own pair!
I throw these on when I'm running through the woods, driving in my freezing car, and around town when it's windy outside. They are super thin and block wind pretty well. They fit inside my other gloves when I've gone on hikes and need a little more protection from the outside. And the little goat grips make these gloves a hassle free endeavors for and situation because everything sticks.
I bought my family members each a pair of these liners and I've never seen them so excited about a pair of gloves before. They're lightweight, have cool sticky goat palms, and dry quickly. They aren't a warm glove unless you're moving around: running or snowshoeing, but definitely stellar if you're steering wheel is chilly in the morning.
I bought the size large and found the fingers to be a bit snug. Decided to get the mens Burton liners instead, but I don't think I have typical female hands. The seams could be a little more stream-lined, too, but the grippy goat palm is great. One of the best grippers on a liner i've seen (and i've gone through plenty because I use them for shooting photos in the winter).
These are great for the money. Obviously not meant to be windproof or too heavy duty but they do a good job as long as it isn't too cold. Love the grips too, they were great when driving on those cold mornings. They wash well too.
I bought these for my girl friend. She has a pair of over mitts that came with terrible fleece liners. They were so loose she was not able to do anything dexterous in them.
Then, I bought these and she can function without every having to take them off. This helps to keep her hands dry and warm. Key to a relaxed happy touring partner.
