Smooth Socks

A great light ski sock for those that enjoy a closer fit. These are a thin product, with no extra frills, with good resistance to washing and maintain color and and sizing. Covering the entire calf, they insulate well and keep their stretch. Work well several days in a row due to great odor resistance and quick drying.

Sweet Socks

Love these socks - everything the other reviewers said is accurate. The only thing I have to add is that these socks wash really well. Some socks pill up and cause problems in your boots - not these!

I have the means Backcountry socks (item # BCC0143) and the packaging recommended me to get a large/X-Large and I went with the Small/Medium's and was glad I did. Moral of the story is size down a bit, there's some stretch to these babies, I'd get the Small/Medium's. I have an 8.5 womens foot and got the small/medium and they fit great. That size should work for you as well with a 9 foot. A ladies 10 should probably go the next size up.

Quality sock

Very nice sock that kept me warm. And they do not smell. I still prefer the Merino Wool though, the Cocona sock tends to collapse on the footbed, loosing the nice cushiony loft.

Great Socks

By:
September 25, 2009

I wore them all day in my work boots just to test them out. My feet were very hot, because it was 70+ degrees outside. My feet stayed relatively dry and when I took my beat up old work boots off. My feet did not stink!I can not think of a more demanding test than that. Great socks!

Good Socks

Good Socks. Only thing to watch out for is getting your toes caught up in loose strands when putting them on.

Great

Warm and thin. I've got the always sweating foot curse, and these socks work great. They seem to wick and stay warm better than some of my wool socks. Seem to be on the big side for sizing.

Great ski socks!

By:

I love these socks for skiing especially. There's not a lot you need to say about them. They're pretty thin, move well, don't bunch or pill at all, wick moisture well and seem to never stink! A great product from Backcountry.com and definitely something to stick a lot of in your ski bag!

Versatile

I really like these socks, and I don't even ski. I use them for winter cycling and running, and have even worn them to work on a few cold days. They are warm yet breathable. The material is pretty amazing in that it really seems to deter odor buildup.

I'm feelin' it

These socks are great for a thinner ski/snowboard sock. I wear a size 12 shoe and the L/XL fit really well on me, they cover almost my entire calf. They dry quickly and they really do resist odors.
