Burton Jeremy Jones Snowboard Boot - Men's

Jeremy Jones is a freestyle madman and a stubborn bastard—and you should thank him. He challenged Burton not only to build his signature boot to his exact specs, but to put it within reach of the average shredder’s bank account. And since he’s Jeremy Jones, that’s exactly what Burton did. Jeremy requested the Flex 2 Liner, which offers plenty of lateral flex without forgetting about edge to edge response. This boot offers more support than the glorified sneakers some jibbers wear, but it’s flexible enough to make those ollies, grinds, and presses feel smooth as butter. B3 Gel cushioning swallows impact on those flat landings and won’t crumble after a season of hard riding, and the J-Bar system lets you customize the level of heel-hold to meet your needs. - Fall 2008.

Bottom Line: A freestyler’s wet dream at a haggler’s price. Thanks, Jeremy.

Sturdy and comfortable

I rented these boots on a recent trip to Mammoth. Like all rental equipment at the end of a season, the boots were well used. The synthetic leather was in decent condition but one of the original shoelaces had been replaced at one point with a cheapo. The inside lining of the boot and those inner-lace pull-thingys were perfect.

After my first run I was immediately impressed with the comfort of these boots. I had tried on and rented many different kinds of boots, but all of them had one thing or another wrong with them. My requirements were comfort #1, and simplicity #2 (e.g. traditional laces and not a lot of stuff to adjust every time). These boots fit both requirements perfectly. My feet were comfortable and warm all day long both days and I didn't have any desire to loosen them up at lunch breaks.

My first order of business when I got home was finding a great deal online and picking up a pair for myself. Done.
