Burton X8 Snowboard

Last year the X8 Snowboard kicked off Burton's ICS system and took the snowboard world by storm. This year, the X8 continues its domination in terrain parks worldwide. The buttery soft flex, twintip shape, and high-end freestyle performance come standard, plus you can use this ride with regular bindings or go with the EST for nearly limitless stance options. Burton hooked up the X8 Snowboard with an ultra-fast sintered WFO base for speed, a Park Fly III wood core for supreme feel, and burly 10:45 sidewalls for durability. Terrain parks, city rails, powder pillows, and massive booters—the X8 Snowboard rips them all. * We can't control which color base you get. But we're confident you'll dig it. - Fall 2008.

Bottom Line: The future has arrived, so get on board.

yes it is good, but not incredible...if you are super harcore about butters, boxes and rails, then go for a scooped board (edges raised of ground 1-2 mm) like the burton fix, hero, condom, and a few others

sick board

January 2, 2009

super sick board. awesome in the park, it's super soft in the nose and tail, and pretty solid in the middle. so lots of pop but still pressable and can hold a line. floats great in pow too. overall it's the best board I've ever ridden.

does ICS have to use EST? or can does it has any compatibility

The board comes with the compatibility discs to switch it to a regular binding, but the binding has to be a BURTON. Basically you can use any Burton binding you want with ICS.

If by top for mean footside, its the side with the black lines on it, the right picture of the board.Unless the changed the picture recently, the side you put your feet on, or as you say the "top" is on the left. The vertical lines are where your bindings go in. you can use this ride with regular bindings or go with the EST for nearly limitless stance options
