Burton Lexa EST Snowboard Binding - Women's

The Women's Lexa EST Snowboard Binding uses Burton's revolutionary binding attachment system to provide limitless adjustment options and a ride unlike anything else available. Screw the Lexa Binding to an ICS snowboard and choose if you want the plush, impact-absorbing SensoryBED baseplate or if you want to remove it for increased board feel. Burton added a Canted Living Hinge highback for excellent forward-lean adjustment and decreased calf fatigue. The Lexa EST Binding also includes a Superstrap and an Ultra Capstrap to lock you in and reduce pressure points at the same time. - Fall 2008.

Bottom Line: Welcome to the future.

I have size 8.5L DC Boa system boots. They are pretty bulky out of all the boots I've had, and I'm wondering if they will fit into the Small Lexa EST bindings? Thanks!

Sorry but they would just be too small. With a size 8.5 you are definitely a size Medium binding or could possibly use a Large.

One of the best

I think the Lexa binding is one of the best out there. I wear size 7 Burton supremes and they fit lexa mediums like a glove. I'm kind of a Burton Junkie from way back. Before the lexa, I rode in the Burton freestyle. What really makes these bindings great is the toe cap. I would not buy another pair of bindings without this feature. They are essential for aggressive riding.

Sorry, but to answer your question, Burton cannot be shipped outside of the US, it can only be shipped domestically. But, S's usually 7 - 9 in US Women's size, if you wanted to find another brand of bindings to buy.

Are these binding good for beginners? I'm not going to jump

Are these binding good for beginners? I'm not going to jump in the parks, just to ride down the slope (when I learn). I look for the binding that it will help me to learn snowboarding easily.

These would be just fine. They're an all mountain binding which means they're good for just about anything. Whether it be 40 foot jumps and 1080s, or creeping down the bunny slope. You won't be disappointed with them. The Lexa's are a great model. Just be sure your board is EST compatible.

Has anyone ridden both the Lexa and the Escapade - is there much difference?

I've ridden in both these bindings. The models that I have are a couple of years older than what's listed. I think the escapade is a bit more cush than the lexa, meaning that the extra padding does cut down on chatter while riding in dust on crust conditions. It also helps if your landing is a bit sketchy.I don't have a problem with the lexa at all. It's a little cheaper and have this binding on a malolo. Both these bindings are among the best I've owned and I've been snowboarding for 27 years. If you own burton boots it's definitely a plus. Both are good choice for aggressive women riders. Hope this helps.
