Good performer in Loveland

I tried these for a dedicated two days skiing and snowboarding in Colorado in new powder and the day after.

I'd agree that they aren't for the coldest weather, but they aren't meant to be. Also, the liner, while convenient -- if, say, you have a really warm day -- can be a bit of a pinch to get on. I'm right handed, and I have to put my left hand in first, so I can manipulate my coordinated hand into the darn things. On balance, though, I'd say the feature of removable liners is worth the hassle.

The construction seems durable enough, though, I'm sure these would get gnarled up with the typical "tow rope" we've got back home. I wore out my other BMW waterproof leather motorcycle gloves by standing still and letting the rope run through my hands while the newer riders fell and gummed up the line. I'm not sure anyone makes a glove tough enough to stand up to that, though.

I gave them five stars because they're versatile, cheap, and durable. I got the plaid color, which looks a little funky for me (I'm in my 30s), but it works with my mostly black gear anyway.

Recommended but not accurate representation.

I already had a burton approach glove (size M)a few years old and thought I would order another pair. I ordered a Med and it was too small so I reordered a large and it was also too small. Also the picture looks like the glove should come high above the wrist at least 3 inches similar to my old pair. Instead it is it more like a standard glove and kind of short.
I'm already out $14 bucks in shipping so giving up at this point. What's funny is I was in Breckenridge at a shop in March and the burton apporach glove they had came up high above the wrist just like my original glove and what I thought I was ordering here.

Overall my orginal glove handles real well for warmth, stays dry and I would simply remove the the liner for spring time riding in CO.

The glove sizing chart on the site wasn't much help.

Great Dry Glove

These Burton Approach gloves are great, they keep the snow out and my hands really dry. The removable liner can be left in the car on warmer days and great to have in on colder days. For the coldest days I'd suggest getting a bit warmer liner though, unless you have awesome blood circulation or lack fingers, at which point you should probably just get mittens.
Oh and if you get them in Apres Plaid Touch the Sky and rock the Burton AK 2L Cyclic Pants in Totally Pink be prepared for some overly matching steeze
