Brunton Lander Dual-Fuel Stove - 2008

Remote regions offer limited options when it comes to stove fuel. Luckily, the Brunton Lander Dual Fuel Expedition Stove works with both butane and white gas. No longer will you lose days of your trip to scouting out the right fuel or begging stoves off of other expeditions. Durable stainless steel construction makes the Lander Duel Fuel Expedition Stove tough enough to handle an arduous approach on the back of pack animals and the hazards of the cluttered cook tent. Pretty happy with this stove. Just want to say that there is a little bit of flame control even though the description says none. Not much, but there is a little.

Also, it's loud but not as loud as i feared. From memory, i do not think it is as loud as the msr dragonfly or primus omnifuel even though the designs are similar.

Mine didn't come with a manual which was annoying since i took it directly on a trip. But, i managed to figure it out..so that may speak a little about its ease of use.

It's quite solid, nothing flimsy about the design. The pump seems solid as well.

I've read some mixed reviews on brunton's dependability/durability on their other models...not sure how it will be down the road, but it works great now.

Hi Looking at stoves for backpacking, boat camping and car camping uses. Mostly wanting something to boil water quickly.This is for my son. DOes this fold up, is there a storage bag and are there wind baffles?Thanks

Nice stove

It is very stable and boils water fast. It lights easy with white gas but it can take a few trys with the butane because the matches blow out, but I like the convenience of butane and this minor issue is not enough to discourage me from using it. It folds up small but the case that it comes with only fits the stove itself not the wind-screen or the pump for the white gas. I would recommend this stove it is excellent for the price.
