Brunton Profile Duo Range/Grill Combo Stove - 2009

Call up the Food Network, because you’ll be worthy of your own cooking show when you bust out the Brunton Profile Duo Range/Grill Combo Stove. Grill sausages and burgers on the Profile’s grill side, and cook up some scrambled eggs or veggie sautés on the stove side. The fold-up lid and side windscreens shield your cook surface from the breeze, and the flexible fuel hose lets you attach butane or propane canisters and store them away from the stove. The Piezo ignition provides a quick light, and the tough steel construction takes the abuse of casual campers and road warriors alike.

Bottom Line: Welcome to your state-of-the-art camp kitchen.

Pretty Cool...

It does what it's suppose to. After three camping trips I've grilled salmon, steak, corn, asparagus, etc...and they all came out great. The burned works well too. It's perfect for 2, maybe 3 adults, but the grill space is too small for a family. There is a small drain hole for grease and a 3x4 tray under the hole that slides in and out to empty the grease. I imagine if you cooked fatty meats like burgers, you'd have to keep an eye on the grease trap or it could quickly fill up.
It's kinda cheaply made so I don't know how well its going to hold up over time but so far I'm very happy with it.

Jason True's review of this product said he bought a griddle

Jason True's review of this product said he bought a griddle to go with it. I'd like to know the griddle he bought because it sounds like a great idea. Thanks, Riley

best stove ever

Great for the whole family because it satisfies everyone's individual food preferences. Boil eggs for the adults and make toast for the kids at the same time. Heat water for Top Ramen for the kids while you grill sausages for the adults. In spite of my initial reservations about having only one burner, now I see the countless possibilities with the combination of grill and burner. 5 stars because I wouldn't know how to change it to make it any better.

Great Stove

I have used this once so far in Fruita. I purchased a griddle for it that sits over the grill portion of the stove. Works great for cooking eggs, bacon, and hash browns in the morning. The Piezo ignition actually works.
